A walk with a difference. Today we are helping Wildlife Trust enthusiasts Peter and Sylvia Woodhead to search for and record the presence of Dwarf Willow on the high fells. Bring a GPS if possible. Taking in Brandreth, Green Gable and Grey Knots. Option for longer route over Great Gable

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
