A Falcon, A Fox and A Plover | Saturday 23 July 2022

Walk Leader: Andy Miller
Participants: 7
Mileage: 23 miles
Ascent: 3,600 ft
Walk Report: Andy Miller
Weather: Dry initially, soon turned to heavy rain and thick mist

This route came from Nidderdale LDWA website of their 2014 programme any credit for the route should go to them.

Great route but unfortunately was spoiled for the majority of the day by horrible adverse weather conditions  (Heavy Rain and a Thick Mist)  which settled in mid morning and worsened as the day progressed.  This led to very slippery conditions on the limestone which is predominant in this area. I also had a Directional Malfunction Mid Morning where we had to walk through a rough patch of uneven ground before we found our Bridleway amongst numerous other paths and tracks. This cost our group a bit of time. My Apologies.

This walk will be done again at a later date and hopefully in better conditions.
