We set off from Rosedale along the Northdale Path and then climbed up to Northdale Rigg. We crossed this moor to reach Hamer Bridge Road. We then had a drinks stop. We crossed the road and then joined a track which took us to the corner of the woods at Hartof Moor. We had our first break here.

 

After our break we took a short woodland footpath to then link up with a forestry track on the perimeter of Wrelton Moor. We stayed on this track all the way passing Muffles Rigg ,Speirs Bank to reach Moor Lane and then Hartof Bridge. We crossed Hartof Bridge and took the riverside path to cross the Stepping stones and then uphill to join a track which took us back to Rosedale in the snow. As always praise for our leader who kept us going when conditions got a bit tough.
