We set off from Appleby, crossed the permissive path across the A66
and joined the Pennine Way heading North.This took us to Black Hill
where we then took the path along the edge of Flakebridge Wood to reach Frith Lane ,Wood Lane and then reach Dufton.
We had our break here.After our Break we took a track passing Pusgill House to reach an excellent path which took us around the bottom of Dufton Piketo reach Cosca Hill and rejoin the P/W which took us back to Dufton where we had lunch.
After Lunch we rejoined the P/W to continue to Castle Hill and then return to Appleby by way of Hunriggs.
An Excellent day in great company .
