Bus station at Booths Supermarket, Keswick, CA12 5EA

Derwent Dawdle is a former challenge event covering 21 mile fabulous miles starting from Keswick. The full day out completes a high level circuit of Derwentwater including some well known highlights. The route includes Walla Crag, Ashness Bridge, Surprise View, Watendlath and Dock Tarn. We'll finish back in Keswick after skirting Castle Crag and a late afternoon ascent of Catbells which we'll hopefully have to ourselves. The spectacular trail features several climbs and rewards you with panoramic views of Derwentwater and the surrounding Wainwrights. 21 miles. 4,300 feet ascent
