Parklands & Ponds - Thursday 13th October 2022

Leader: Clive Haynes

A very enjoyable 15 mile, almost figure of 8 walk, from Newton Purcell to Fringford.
A day of two halves, misty grey in the morning and but glorious sunshine and vivid autumn colours in the afternoon.
Sadly the pub at Fringford wasn’t open, but it didn’t spoil our day.
Thank you Clive for a good day out.

After the recce:
This Thursday's walk, 'Parkland & Ponds', takes us just over the border into Oxfordshire. The route is about 15 miles and includes Shelswell Park, Tusmore Park and several attractive Oxfordshire villages. There will be a lunchtime pub stop at the Butcher's Arms in Fringford. These photos are from the recce last week.
