A lovely joint 8 mile walk with Essex & Herts from Weston in Hertfordshire as part of Phil Hastings series of Easy Amble walks. Sadly Phil couldn’t attend and Ian Watson ably stood in for him.
It was 🥶 to start off but we soon warmed up. A crisp clear day. 9 on the walk with 6 staying for an excellent meal at The Cricketers PH.
My brother Bob would have appreciated all of the cricket photos, memorabilia and 🏏 below the bar. A good day out.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
