6 walkers plus Grommit in the morning. Two of us joined them at Lillingstone Lovell for the afternoon.

A sunny day, though a cold wind near the Obelisk.  Serious mud in places, but lots of lovely open countryside and fine views.

A good walk and a very enjoyable afternoon, spoilt only by Arsenal's late winner - we were all rooting for Leicester - but then Liverpool got 6 and some spirits were lifted.

Thank you Chris and Frances for the welcome cuppa and Chris's cheese and leek scones (delicious) and for running us back to Norman's car.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
