Route
From Great Offley, public footpath opposite 45-47, Salusbury Lane. SG5 3EL. Park respectfully near the start location in Salusbury Lane or along High Street near the church
A circular route through Mangrove Green, Cockernhoe, Breachwood Green, Whitwell, St Pauls Walden, Preston and back to Great Offley. The undulating route, with extensive views on good paths/tracks and no stiles, crosses the River Mimram valley twice, passing St Pauls Waldenbury, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and St Pauls Walden church. Some walking on minor roads
General Notes
Bring enough food and drink for the day. Morning break at Breachwood Green (5miles), lunch break at St Pauls Walden church (9 miles), Strathmore Arms pub (tbc) nearby for drinks only. Dogs kept on short leads for the whole walk are welcome
