A 12 mile walk from Ayeside through Thompson Woods and up to Bigland Tarn then along to Cartmel returning via Wood Broughton and High Cark

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
