Starting from Ampthill Great Park, West Car Park , Woburn Road, Ampthill, Opposite the Rugby Club. W3W tarred.backpacks.edge Nearest Postcode MK45 2GU

We will be walking from Amprthill towards Maulden where we will join the Greensand Way for a while towards Clophill. Our morning break will be just over 6 miles at the ruined Church in Clophill. From there we go to Silsoe via Upper Gravenhurst. Lunch will be at about 11 miles. We'll be walking past Wrest Park where some may choose to stop for lunch - please bring your English Heritage Membership card if you want to do this as there is no free admission. For those who prefer, there are benches near Silsoe Church and the Star & Garter pub should be open. Our return to Ampthill is via Flitton. We will have a short afternoon break at Jack Crawley's barn in Flitton

Please bring all the food you will need for the day. Although we will have a lunch stop this will only be long enough to order drinks, not food.
