Lizzie: So lucky to be walking with this lovely group of people, in beautiful Devon, fantastic scenery and glorious weather. Hardly a moment on the flat, 🤣 we were either going steeply up or down hill. 🤪 Huge thanks to Roy Carter, for another brilliant day 😎

Norman: My goodness what a 2nd day of walking with BBN in Ilfracombe! Beautiful views and weather served as a reminder of why we go walking . But my calves know they’ve had a workout. I’ve heard a lot about the South West Coastal path and now I know why…😮‍💨. Thanks to Roy Carter for leading. A great day.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
