What a great day, organised by Sarah, a history walk, a treasure trail and an easy amble of approx 6 miles.
I was on the easy amble and had a superb time.
At 12.45 we boarded the John Bunyan and were away very quickly. We went through 1 lock, expertly handled by our helmsman, had to dodge a few paddle boarders but that was no problem and on the way back we had a few swimmers. Food was great, i had the ploughmans - superb. We were on the water for 3 hours. A great time.
