Steve Clark: 4 intrepid walkers left Aylesbury station to walk to Wendover via the Aylesbury arm - Grand Union Canal and the Wendover arm into Wendover. We had a great day led by Jim, the weather was sunny and cloudy and warm. We stopped after 1.5 hours for a tea break then we stopped at about 12.30 for lunch. On the Wendover arm we saw 2-3 pairs of Mandarin Duck. The arms looked great in the spring sun with the green in the trees and reeds in the canal and the wild life on the water.
