Another great day, though very muddy in places, from Ravenstone to Astwood. The rain held off apart from a small shower. 12 intrepid walkers left Ravenstone after a short delay due to a mix up in timings. We had an EARLY T break, (hi Gill), and lunch was around 1pm. It was cloudy most of the day but we even had a bit of sunshine. We finished around 16.30. 2 down 1 to go. Cheers to our leaders for a great day, and I enjoyed a nice few pints in the Horseshoe in Wilby afterwards.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
