Yardley to Towcester - Thursday 14th April 2022

Photos from Adrian Moody;
Thursday's walk from Yardley Gobion. Off to Towcester for lunch at the Towcester Mill Brewery. My eye was drawn to the cask whiskey cider but, at 7.9%, I thought I`d be all over the place with only 35 minutes to drink it. Settled for a pint of Mill Race, at a more acceptable 3.9%. Not bad. Wonderful establishment and we could eat our own food on the premises. Despite the usual manic A5, Towcester has changed a bit since I was there last, with a lot of open spaces for recreation. Took me back to the site of my first lead for BBN, from the car park next to what is now Waitrose. I can still remember Norman Smith crunching the top of his camper van, as he tried to go under the height barrier. Any way, I digress. Thanks very much to Clive for the walk. It was great to see Graham out and about again after what has been far too long. As to the photos, not that many scenic ones this time, but things I spotted.
