Leader: Chris Bent

An excellent walk following Chris on Sunday. We had some new faces as well.

It started off misty but slowly cleared to be a clear and cloudy day, but not a cold day. Chris met us in the layby and at 9am 12 not 11 off us were on our way out into the countryside to skirt Silverstone race track to our morning break at Stowe.

15 mins later 12 not 11 moved on, heading for Syresham for a pub stop for lunch. 30 mins and a pint and sarnies later 11 not 12 of us headed off for the countryside. Oops, what was that, 11 not 12, ohhh yeh, we had a little mishap. As we moved off one of our new faces (sorry I can’t remember his name) decided to use the pub before we moved on and nobody noticed. 5 mins later the back marker noticed we had one missing so we had to stop and go back to find him. So anyway eventually 12 not 11 of us left Syresham for the walk back to Whittlebury with a 10 min break.

With not a lot of hills and not a lot of mud and great countryside we got back to our cars after a great walk.
