Walking to Granny's - Thursday 5th March 2026
Leader: Chris Bent
Another great BBN social following Chris to Granny’s.
The weather started off misty but the mist soon disappeared and the sun shone for the rest of the day, giving us some great views over the countryside. We did have a few steep hills and, ummm, a few stiles; in fact we even had a triple stile at one point.
Twelve of us, plus Alfie who came with Jim, left the cp in Bugbrook and headed south over the countryside towards Pattishall, then west to Litchborough where we had our morning break. Then we headed north for Granny’s cafe in Weedon for an hour’s lunch break.
After lunch we followed the Grand Union Canal for a while before we headed back across the countryside heading east for Nether Heyford, through Nether Heyford and then back to Bugbrook.
