Leader: Terry Brown

This was a figure of 8 walk from Broom. Luckily, in view of the weather on the day, Terry had arranged for the morning break to be inside St Mary's Church at Henlow.
Take 3 - This was the third time out for this walk – although the route differed a bit from previous versions because of the stop at St Mary’s Church. The first time was just before Lockdown in February 2020 when the weather was so bad we abandoned the afternoon loop and just stayed in the pub! The second time was in August 2021 with much better weather.

16 people and 12 stayed for the afternoon which I shortened from 6.6 to just under 5 miles - a popular move!
Anthony & Charlotte did us proud for the morning break with a warm church and homemade shortbread biscuits! 
There was a lot of mud but it wasn’t raining all the time and the lunch time beer was nice!
