As the old laird McCorrin was busy in La Palma in the Canaries, recceing routes for the 2027 BBN Summer Holiday it fell to Wee Gilly McBunker to pipe us around the now “traditional” Haggis Hobble. 

16 of us on the dander (old Scottish word for stroll) from Great Linford, which started out under leaden skies (dreich) and before long a light drizzle fell. But that soon stopped as we made our way along the canal towards Willen Lake for our first brief stop.  We then meandered our way into central MK, our route being amended slightly due to flooding along the Ouzel, to reach the Wetherspoons for lunch.  There we partook of the Great Chieftain o’ the puddin-race, although other meal options were available. 

The weather seemed determined to brighten up after lunch and there was even a brief sunny spell.  Thence, back towards our starting point, via the Cascade Pond and we were done.
