Leader: The Grinch

Led by the miserable ole Grinch (aka Alan Leadbetter) we set off on the 10 mile hike visiting 4 churches (Sharnbrook, Felmersham, Pavenham and Harrold) and sang a carol at each one. At our first one at Sharnbrook we got there as the church goers were turning up for the Sunday service and they enjoyed our singing (well put this way…they smiled at us) and of course some got a chocolate from Santa (aka Norman).

After Sharnbrook we headed for Felmersham, then Pavenham and the last church at Harrold. At Felmersham we had the traditional hot mulled wine and mince pies and of course the Grinch brought along some homemade Xmas cake.

We had another great day with some fine views over the Bedfordshire countryside and the weather was good to us all day.
After the walk and picking out a pressie from Santa’s sack we headed for The Fox at Carlton for a well earned pint before heading home.
