4½ of us set out on Saturday morning from Wendover to do part 1of the Aylesbury Ring.
We went along parts of the Wendover and Aylesbury arms of The Grand Union canal. We spotted the Mandarin duck near Wendover. 
We passed through an apparently abandoned vineyard in Weedon - a very sad sight with rotten grapes on the vines and blackberries encroaching all over the intended plants.
The weather was kind, breezy and no rain.
Huge thanks to Jim who led us very ably. Charlie was a very enthusiastic participant - could he become our first canine member.
