A Midsummer Amble - Saturday 19th July 2025

THE LATE, LATE AGM WALK

Leader: Alan Leadbetter

Well, Alan eventually led his 2024 AGM walk on Saturday 19th July 2025. Seven of us met in the car park of Lavendon Village Hall for 5pm.

We headed off on the road for about a mile before turning right and heading south for Cold Brayfield along footpaths. A left, then a right at Cold Brayfield and we then headed for Newton Blossomville, crossing two bridges over the River Great Ouse.

At Newton Blossomville we had a 15 minute break in a play area, where Karen and Phil sat on the swings. After our break we headed off for Clifton Reynes where we turned right and headed for Lavendon Grange on the Three Shires Way. At the Grange we only had about a mile to go before we got back to the cars.

Back at Lavendon we headed for the pub for the late late AGM beer. While having a beer Alan let us know that there had been no apologies from our Chairlady, Treasurer, Webmaster, Secretary, etc, etc, etc, etc. Therefore the only business at the pub was any other business, which was Whose Round Is It? Alan closed the session as the light was getting low.

Nice walk Alan. All my photos are on my web site www.steveceegalleries.smugmug.com
