A great day was had by all, the bus arrived on time at East Carlton Country Park and we had a good ride to Welford where we started our walk. After a bit of a false start we left Welford just after 9.30am and headed out across country for Sibbertoft, then on to East Farndon. 30 mins before East Farndon we stopped for morning break then on through East Farndon and headed along a long stretch of road to pass through Great Oxendon. Then on towards Braybrooke where we had lunch at the Swan pub.

After lunch we headed for Stoke Albany and Wilbarston, the last 2 villages we were passing through, before finishing our walk at East Carlton country park.
The day was a bit chilly and there was plenty of ups and downs with some great views of the surrounding countryside.
