This is a repeat by popular demand of the New Year hangover busting walk of two years ago. Hope to finish in the light but bring a torch just in case. Many cafes will be closed so come prepared to eat sandwiches. There is a Tesco selling sandwiches halfway. We will have a late stop in the pub for drinks only. L: Susanne Waldschmidt

Clapham Junction to North Downs, Sunday 2nd January 201112 walkers, 17 miles - leader Susanne Waldschmidt
12 walkers accompanied by Father Christmas walked due south through the green spaces of south London. Highlights included a prison, lots of dinosaurs and Susan's Christmas cake and mince pies. The walk finished with a tram ride to Croydon.
