Last week's walk

1. Saturday 16th March: "Two Towers" joint walk with Surrey LDWA.

Twenty four humans and one dog were on this walk from Horsley to Guildford stations. They walked through muddy woodland with lots of puddles to the Semaphore Tower on Chatley Heath. And then headed south for a late lakeside lunch stop near Hatchlands and on via Newlands Corner, Merrow and Pewley Downs, to the Semaphore House in Guildford. They finished with a couple of Lewis Carroll landmarks on the way down to Guildford Station.
