Route: Maidstone East station: train departs Victoria 07.55. There is also one departing London Bridge 07.38 arriving 08.31 if that's more convenient and you're happy to wait. Up the Medway Valley to Aylesford, then up and down the North Downs (two climbs) viaKit's Coty Houseto White Horse Wood, back with a few minor undulations via Bearsted and Mote Park. Maidstone has two Wetherspoons for those so inclined.
Notes: Lunch stop at Detling; there is a shop there if people wish to take advantage of it. No toilets on the route.
