A warm welcome to the following new Primary members: Daisy Chandley and Matt Mullins

Forthcoming Walks

Jerome is leading four walks over the Easter bank holiday weekend. In 1974 he walked the Ridgeway Path over the 4 day Easter weekend. This was his first Long Distance Path (LDP) and the start of his life-long love of long distance walking. Since then he has walked many official and unofficial LDPs. To celebrate his 50 years of LDP walking he is doing his own route, again over the 4 days of the Easter weekend, from the River Thames at Kingston almost directly south across Surrey and Sussex to the hamlet of Kingston on the English Channel. He is linking up 4 walks as a long distance path of his creation and other walkers can choose which day or days they would like to walk. He would be delighted if some do all 4. He will be returning home each day by train and other walkers who are planning to do more than 1 day can choose either to do the same or to stay overnight at the stopping points as each day continues from where the previous day finished. Anyone doing this should make their own arrangements.
