Maidstone East station (train departs Victoria 07.55. There is also one departing London Bridge 07.38 arriving 08.31 if that's more convenient and you're happy to wait)
Out through Mote Park, then with a few minor undulations via Bearsted up to the North Downs via White Horse Wood to Kit's Coty House (two climbs) then down the Medway Valley from Aylesford back to Maidstone, which has two Wetherspoons for those so inclined
General Notes
Lunch stop at Detling; there is a shop there if people wish to take advantage of it. No toilets on the route
