Orpington Parks Circular, Wednesday 28th September 20167 walkers, 6 miles - leader Neil Cook
We commenced walking to Newstead and Darrick Wood and down into Tugmutton Common. We crossed into Farnborough Village. This was a revisit of the checkpoint of the West Yorkshire on the London 100 in 2012. We soon entered High Elms, the home of the Lubbocks until 1968. We followed the track along Shire Lane and then down into Green St. Green and then into Orpington for a celebration of three birthdays including the walk leader's 50th. A Wetherspoon without Mr. Wetherspoon Williams.
