  • The East Lancashire group is one of about 40 groups in the country affiliated to the Long Distance Walkers Association. We are a friendly bunch who enjoy various social activities and trips as well as walking.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
