Route
The LDWA is encouraging groups to use public transport more, & this walk fulfils that brief. Meet at 10.30am (Those with passes can use these from 9.30 so this gives more time) at the clock tower outside Bolton Railway Station. BL2 1BE.
The linear trail follows the rail lines from Bolton to Wigan so is semi urban/industrial in places. But we do go through Borsdane Wood, along a disused line, & some canal walking.
Return to Bolton (or your destination) by train/bus
