TVLDWA Gate 2021
Following a bequest in the will of Steve Singleton's mother, we arranged for a kissing gate to be installed in his memory in December 2021 by The Chiltern Society. It's on Swan's Way at Lys Farm House, SU 6902 9288.
Sadly, these gates now cost as much as our annual profits from the Oxon 40/20 walk, so it is unlikely we will be placing any more of them in the future.
Steve was a well-loved member of Thames Valley, and his obituary is here.
The longer walk on July 31st 2022, led by Ron Doole, visited the gate and he took the pictures below.
