Lakeland AGM 2023

The10th Lakeland Group LDWA AGM took place on Saturday 25 November 2023 at the Newby Bridge Hotel, with a morning walk, followed by a splendid lunch and a talk by Victoria Morris about Highpoints, her book about the walk she undertook from John O'Groats to Lands end via every county high point in the mainland UK (a very wiggly straight line then!!).  Details about her book and how to purchase a copy can be obtained by emailing one of us at lakeland@ldwa.org.uk.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
