Route
Meet at Bowness Bay. We need to cross from Bowness Bay on the Cross Lake Shuttle from Bowness Bay to Ash Landing provided by Windermere Lake cruises. This boat leaves at 9.55am. (car ferry currently not working.)

Bowness Bay to Grasmere 14 Miles over Claife Heights (can be shorted to 11 miles by stopping at Ambleside if anyone wants to do this.) We walk over claife heights, past Blelham Tarn, near Skelwith Fold over the shoulder of Loughrigg & round to Rydal & coffin route to Grasmere
