Walk Report

22 walkers enjoyed an Easter Exploration from Woodstock, led by Maureen Downes in glorious weather.

The route took us through Blenheim Park and Coombe before an early break at the site of a Roman villa. From there we took in North Leigh, New Yatt, Poffley End and Delly End before our lunch stop at Ramsden church (although some were waylaid by the nearby pub). The afternoon took us through Fawler (see picture) to Stonesfield for our afternoon stop, where the promised surprise was a selection of cakes, made by Gill Scott, and carried for 15 miles by our leader. Our return via the park seemed to go much more quickly after our sugar fix.
