It offers an an extension enabling the walker to start the walk in Leek, following this route to Buxton, then continuing to Edale via a route detailed on a separate web page, before starting the Main Route. The route goes from Leek to Buxton via The Roaches, Gradbach, Three Shires Head and Grinlow.
