Norfolk Coast Path

Norfolk

The Norfolk Coast Path was extended in 2024 to take in the whole of the coastal path in the county. It starts from Sutton Bridge at the border with Lincolnshire and follows the River Nene to reach the coast. Here the route is shared with the Peter Scott Walk, who was a conservationist and artist who lived locally, and continues to historic King’s Lynn. From there the route continues to the popular seaside town of Hunstanton, the most westerly part of the route, and soon after meets the Peddars Way at Holme-next-the-Sea. Most of the following section to Cromer is within the Norfolk Coast National Landscape and the landscape includes salt marshes, sandy beaches and pine woodland.
The route ends at the Suffolk border just beyond Hopton on Sea.
