For those of you unfamiliar with Zoom…

Please could you download Zoom before the meeting https://zoom.us/download . This download should place the Zoom icon on your screen. If you open this you can start a meeting with yourself and play with the main controls that are in a green bar. You will get a window in between where you just click ‘Open Link’ and another where you click ‘join with Computer Audio’.  The main ones are Video (controls whether others can see you), Chat (opens a chat box where you can comment as others are speaking) and most important of all, Mute, which controls whether others can hear you. As organiser, I have the power to mute you or all of you. If you don’t mute while others are speaking, we get all sorts of noises creeping in. If you wish to interject, use the waving hand icon (or just raise your hand) under ‘Reactions’ and we could vote on anything we need to (though hopefully this us already dealt with using Johns form) using the thumbs up icon which is also there.  I have disabled the ‘waiting room’ facility. You will of course need the sound on your computer and if you have them, I always find it better to use headphones. If you don’t have a camera on your computer, you will need to connect a webcam.
