Thames Valley LDWA
On some of the Wednesdays when Thames Valley LDWA do not have a scheduled walk Chris Lloyd and Gerry Garland have kindly offered to lead walks whose main features are: a relaxed pace, putting the world to rights, and possibly stopping to talk to those they encounter on the way. These walks will not appear in Strider, but will be added to the walks programme on TV's web site when Chris and Gerry choose to lead them; there will also be an alert on TV's home page.
 
The first such walk is planned for 20 November 2019.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
