Sun 8th Feb 2026 c20ml. 09:00. (SU760962) Stokenchurch: Meet on green to East of ex Kings C3300ft ascent.
Sun 15th Feb 2026 c16 or c19ml. 09:00. (SU720887) Maidensgrove: At the eastern end of the Common, from the direction of Stonor where Park Lane emerges into the open, between the 30mph signs. Note steep approach from Stonor may be icy so route via Nettlebed/Russells Water may be safer if cold.
Sun 22nd Feb 2026 c15ml. 09:00. (SU892799) Braywick Leisure Centre off Braywick Road, Maidenhead SL6 1BN. Park on the RHS of the entrance in front of the Stafferton Lodge. Parking is free on Sundays C800ft Ascent.
Sun 1st Mar 2026 c20ml. 09:00. (SU770817) Henley-on-Thames: Mill Lane car park C1800ft Ascent.

Thames Valley AGM 2026 Minutes

Celebrating 50 years since the creation of the Thames Valley Local group in 1976
The group is running a number of Events throughout the year of 2026 to celebrate, they are listed below:-
15 mile walk that approximately retraces the inaugural route taken by Bob Ford & John Cassells in 1976.
15 mile walk to see Bluebells.
20 mile walk to see Bluebells.
A night time walk to hopefully see a Blue Moon.
A 50K Social walk, Note Earlier 8:00am start with minimum 3mph pace to get back in daylight.
A Treasure Hunt followed by afternoon tea.
SATURDAY WALK. There will be, two or three 6 mile loops to finish just before 16:00 . 18 mile walk starts at 09:00, 12 mile walkers joining at Knoll Hill at 11.15 . A slow paced independent walk of 6 mls on the final loop will commence at the same location at 13.00.
Followed by 50th anniversary party in v.h at 16:00, with curry (incl veggie option), games & guest speaker. PRIOR REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED ASAP but no later than 30th Sept stating your walk (or no walk) preference.
