Thames Valley 50th Anniversary Celebrations
Saturday October 10th
Dear Members,
The committee would like to remind you of the forthcoming and last social event to celebrate 50 years of Thames Valley LDWA, a variety of walks followed by a curry supper.
NOTE: SATURDAY 10th October Walk. Knoll Hill v.h, on street parallel to A4. Parking in v.h c.p & on Bath Road nr Square Deal cafe
For the mainstream walkers, two or three 6 mile loops to finish just before 16:00 . 18 mile walk starts at 09:00, 12 mile walkers joining at Knoll Hill at 11.15 . A slow paced independent walk of 6 mls on the final loop will commence at the same location at 13.00, led by Barry Boddy
General Notes
The Walk will be followed by a 50th anniversary party in the Village Hall at 16:00, with curry (incl. veggie option) and games. Note: PRIOR REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED ASAP but no later than 8th August, stating your walk (or no walk) preference. Non-TV members or guests £10 on day, TV members free, Lapsed TVLDWA members especially welcome on 6ml walk or for party only.

Should there be insufficient take-up for this event, an alternative subsidised pub meal may be considered, and interest should still be logged.
