We need feedback on our new website

Posted on 2026-07-05

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The LDWA is developing a new digital platform, and we would very much like members to help shape the next stage of the project. We have signed the contract with the developers 300DEVs and the work on the website has started, with work on the app also starting in the near future.

As part of this process, we are sharing two possible design approaches for the new platform. These are not finished websites, but early design concepts to help us understand what members feel works well, what could be improved and what would best reflect the LDWA. Your feedback will help guide the direction of the project before more detailed development work takes place. There will be lots more opportunities to comment on the work, our plans and the design of the website.

We are particularly keen to hear whether the designs feel clear, welcoming and easy to use, whether they reflect the character of the LDWA, and whether they would help members and non-members find the information they need. The new platform needs to work for many different audiences, from long-standing members and group volunteers to people discovering the LDWA for the first time, so a wide range of views will be extremely helpful.

You can view the designs and complete the short feedback survey here: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/MkXpu6QaT1?origin=lprLink.

The survey should only take a few minutes, although we will naturally accept longer reflections from anyone who has ever looked at a website and thought “well, I wouldn’t have put that there”. So, the more detail the better if you are able. Please don't focus on the exact words or images used as these will change, but focus more on the layout, the structure and general feel of the website.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to look at the designs and share your thoughts. Member feedback is very important to us and we wanted to involve members at this early stage. If you have any queries about the IT project in general, please email Richard, the IT officer, at it@ldwa.org.uk or at 07802 270598.
