It is with great sadness we report that Margaret Steer died peacefully at her home in Porthleven in Cornwall in the morning of Tuesday 28th June.

Margaret was the widow of Chris Steer, cofounder of the LDWA. She was an LDWA member in her own right, LDWA 501, and was made an Honorary Member in recognition of her services to the Association, not least for typing up the first 47 issues of Strider in the pre-computer days.

The funeral will be on Thursday 7th July, 4.0pm at Penmount Crematorium, Truro TR4 9AA. If anyone intends to attend please let Martin Steer (her son) know, email: martincsteer@gmail.com
