IS IT A RECORD?
Following up on October’s newsletter item, which asked the question, was the recent “Pilgrim’s Path” social walk, held jointly by Northumbria and West Yorkshire groups, at 54 walkers the biggest attendance for an LDWA social walk?
Peter Poppy from Vermuyden group reports that there were 83 on “passport to Yorkshire”, February 2017. However, Andrew Beck reports that there were 95 on the John Nicholson memorial walk, also in 2017, which was a Thames Valley/Essex and Herts/BBN joint social walk based on the Ashridge Boundary Trail.
So, 95 it is - unless of course you know different, email Paul Nellist at ldp@ldwa.org.uk.
