Sixty Mile Walk around Wensleydale

Cumbria, N Yorkshire

90 km / 56 miles
Devised to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the Wensleydale Society the walk explors Wensleydale from Leyburn to Garsdale Head and visits Redmire, Askrigg, Hardraw, Gayle (Hawes), Bainbridge, West Burton as well as Leyburn and both sides of the valley. It is easily divided into sections and is well served with accommodation and places to eat.

It has been researched, walked and written by Diana Jolland for the Wensleydale Society and proceeds from the sale of the publication will be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
