39 km / 24 miles
A demanding challenge route of 24 miles, involving 10,000 feet of ascent to be completed in under 12 hours, possibly making it the most difficult route in the Peak District given height gained compared to its length. Starting and finishing at the Nag's Head Public House in Edale, it circumnavigates Kinder Scout ascending and descending it 12 times. Most of Kinder's famous features are visited including: the three trigs, Grindslow Knoll, Edale Cross, Crowden Tower, Seal Stones, Druid's Stone, Mad Women's Stones, Mermaid's Pool, etc., with a final magnificent ascent of Ringing Roger. A route only to be contemplated by hardy and experienced walkers.
