Sun 1st Mar 2026 c20ml. 09:00. (SU770817) Henley-on-Thames: Mill Lane c.p C1800ft Ascent.
Sun 8th Mar 2026 c19ml. 09:00. (SU555621) Ashford Hill Recreation Ground c.p (permission obtained). the c.p is small so car pool if possible. Approach on Chapel Lane which is a loop from & back to B3051 main road, easiest to take southern turning with this street sign, i.e. right on second Chapel Lane entrance if approaching from Reading Some new territory. Through Hannington & Kingsclere & back on the Brenda Parker Way. 1600 ft ascent mainly in middle of walk, where there should be good views across to Salisbury Plain & the Kennet valley.
Sun 15th Mar 2026 c20ml. 09:00. (SU825840) Hurley: Village c.p Ashley Hill, Mill End, Hambleden, Marlow, Burchett's Green.
Sun 22nd Mar 2026 c15ml. 09:00. (SU807918) Lane End: c.p by traffic lights 1500 feet of ascent. A Chance for a Chatter while meandering through Chisbridge, Homefield Wood, Shakespeare's Way, Hambleden, Turville & Fingest.
Sun 29th Mar 2026 c20ml. 09:00 REMEMBER CLOCKS GO FORWARD OVERNIGHT. (SU601800) Goring-on-Thames: Manor Road, at the end in the small parking area 1400 ft ascent. Walk past villages via uplands - hopefully not too muddy.

Thames Valley 50th Anniversary Walk
An approximate recreation the inaugural route taken by Bob Ford & John Cassells in 1976, with celebrations after at Maidenhead Athletic Club's hall for cake for the second week running and the third time this year.
21 people attend the walk in total, some doing more miles than others, with more joining for the after walk celebrations.

Sat 25th Apr 2026 Bath Beat - 12.5, 17, 21 or 26.5 miles.
Sun 26th Apr 2026 Pewsey Downsaround - 35, 26, 17 or 10 miles.
Sun 31st May 2026 South Downs Marathon 2026 - Combination of loops from a choice of 10, 8x2, 6 and 5mile routes and also a 2mile wheelchair friendly interest walk.
