Meet Luton Railway Station 09:00 at back North East exit signposted "High Town" and NOT the main exit to the town centre.
Take the 08:21 or 08:29 from St Pancras. Buy a return to Leagrave which is one short stop up the line from Luton.
We soon leave the town to the north east using parks & commons & some small hills. Tour of Barton Hills, through the village of Barton-Le-Clay, then Sharpenhoe Clappers, Streatley village, Sundon Hills & finish at Leagrave.
General Notes
Average pace of 2.7 mph.
Picnic stops and woodland facilities only during the day. Barton has shops to top up on supplies.
Aiming to finish for the 17.08 train from Leagrave.
