Some news. Next week you will not have the Jabber that has pinged into your inboxes for the last three and a half years, because I'll be away in the Isle of Wight with a number of her many friends helping the great Jill Green celebrate her upcoming 80th birthday with what else but an 80k walk. A big hand, please, for Barry Arnold who over the next few months will be replacing me, first as a supersub (I don't know whether you see yourself as Jack Grealish or Jordan Henderson, Barry) and then your full-time Newsletter editor.
